Chris Brown is not giving up.
The rapper, whose relationship with Rihanna ended when he assaulted her back in 2009, reportedly believes that the two will reunite in the future. According to Hollywood Life, the 27-year-old musician claims that there is still a chance for a reunion with his ex.
“[At] the end of the day, Chris knows he’s still on Ri’s mind,” and insider source claims. “And he still loves her dearly. Chris doesn’t believe for a second that romance and intimate relationship with Rihanna is over for good. It’s just a matter of time.”
The 28-year-old “Work” singer has since dated Drake, Travis Scott, Matt Kemp, and was even linked with actor Leo DiCaprio in the years since her breakup with Chris, but the two have not publicly been seen together in years.
Since he attacked Rihanna seven years ago and was charged with felony assault and making criminal threats, he has spoken out about the past.
“I felt like a f–king monster,” he admitted earlier this year in a new documentary emotional trailer. “I was thinking about suicide and everything else. I wasn’t sleeping, I wasn’t eating. I just was getting high.”
But as for Rihanna, the singer has not commented on the latest, and seems to be happy with current boyfriend, Drake
