Multichoice Nigeria has pulled the reality TV series ‘I am Cait’ from Nigerian television.
The show has been pulled due to complaints.
The show follows Caitlyn Jenner a transgender woman formerly know as Bruce Jenner.
This is the second time a transgender themed show had to be cancelled in that country. A reality docu-series following a transgender teenager ‘I am Jazz’ was also cancelled last year.
Nigeria is certainly not the first African country that is struggling with LGBTQI issues. Uganda has been in the news for their unfair laws against gays.
The president of the country, Yoweri Museveni , outlawed homosexual acts‚ and told citizens to report suspected homosexual activity to the police.
