IEC chairperson Glen Mashinini says a voter has died at a voting stating in Strydenburg in the Northern Cape.
Back to the IEC in Johannesburg, Moepya says he wants the public to measure the IEC’s work “in scale”.
“In very high number of station things were running well. Measure us in terms of how we respond. We want everything to go well.
“This is a question of scale.”
He also said people must not panic if some of the scanners do not work.
